Yarn and Other Treasures

Lately I've been enjoying the benefits of getting up before my little ones to enjoy a little quiet time with Jesus, and maybe get a little creative project going.  Slowly making my way through the book of Matthew, I'm reading about setting my mind and heart on spiritual treasures, and "taking no care" for the temporal.  Which is difficult for me.  But it brings me back to the "little" things that truly matter for eternity: the hearts of my three little ladies and dear husband, and the delightful blessing of
hearing Jesus' sweet words spoken through the pages of a treasured vintage Bible given to me by a dear friend who is now with Him.

And sometimes I find a little time to be creative and work with my hands.  My newest project is a lacy shrug in a such a dusky shade of wool.  I usually get free crochet patterns, but this one is from a magazine.  Full of so many beautiful things I'm hoping to try.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  ~ Matthew 6:33
