Out of Africa

It's a very fortunate thing to have a sister who is working on her PhD, and takes trips to exotic places such as, oh...Cameroon, Africa. And brings back wonderful treasures like elephants and crocodile bottle cap openers carved from ebony wood, and beaded necklaces, and beautiful fabric.

Here's the fabric sewn into a cute little bag by my talented mama with an antler button made by Dad. It looks like an elephant's tusk, don't you think?

  1. What a perfect little African vignette! I love the button on the bag ~ they "were simply made for each other."
    Luv ya!

  2. How beautiful! Africa is such a wonderful place; I'm glad your sister made it safely.

  3. What beautiful blessings Michele :) Thanks so much for sharing, they're great!

have a blessed day in the Lord!

Oh, and I keep forgetting to answer your question: my honey took that picture when we were out four-wheeling one summer :)

Honey, bee sweet and leave us a little note, won't you?
