Letters From Honduras

Beautifully embellished letters arrive faithfully from our friends in Honduras, whom we have the privilege to serve in a very small way. What we receive in return is worth so much more!

There's just something about a handwritten letter. And these with their lovely borders always make our hearts happy.

How precious is this little guy? His sweet mother is the writer and artist. Looking forward to our next treasure in the mail!

  1. He is precious, indeed! "Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world! Red, Brown, Yellow, Black and White, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world!"

  2. I can't read the letters, but my eyes are misting up, because I can see the gratitude and care in the lovely designs.

when you give to the poor, you are lending to God, my friend, and the scriptures say, "you shall not lack". I dare say - even during this economic down turn.

  5. Beautiful. I receive letters from Ecuador (from my Compassion child) that usually include special artwork carefully drawn with much talent and precision using color crayons. Each one is a treasure.
